Professor Tsosie, who is of Yaqui descent, is a school member for the Indigenous Peoples’ Legislation and Coverage Plan at the University of Arizona, and she is broadly known for her do the job in the fields of Federal Indian law and indigenous peoples’ human legal rights. Prior to signing up for the UA college, Professor Tsosie was a Regents’ Professor and Vice Provost for Inclusion and Group Engagement at Arizona Condition College. Professor Tsosie was the first faculty Government Director for ASU’s Indian Authorized System and served in that situation for 15 decades. Professor Tsosie has published greatly on sovereignty, self-resolve, cultural pluralism, environmental policy and cultural rights. She teaches in the spots of Federal Indian Regulation, Residence, Constitutional Legislation, Critical Race Theory, and Cultural Means Regulation. Professor Tsosie is a member of the Arizona Bar Association and the California Bar Association.
