Local students headed to Microsoft Office Specialist National Competition

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – Two Mandan Superior School Students and numerous Bismarck State College or university pupils are headed to Texas to contend in the Microsoft Office Professional Countrywide Levels of competition in June.

They beat out dozens all over the country and proved that their capabilities in Microsoft Phrase, PowerPoint, and Excel are amongst the greatest.

“I didn’t even know how to like, spot a file into my generate,” said Mandan Substantial College sophomore Andi Nelson.

But now she has beaten out hundreds of other students on a nationwide exam testing her PowerPoint expertise to make her spot in the Microsoft Office environment Professional National Competition.

“I felt it was really amazing, like getting one of the prime two people today in the point out against school college students. Which is very amazing,” mentioned Nelson.

Ashley Stelter, a Mandan Substantial University junior, has experienced for the national opposition in the Microsoft Term class and says her skills come in handy.

Bismarck Point out University Professor of Pc Guidance Professional Vickie Volk has various college students who have capable for the nationwide competition in various classes.
