FReadom to Read

Two web site posts in a row about our Library getting a Protected House for our LGBTQIA+ kiddos. Why? Mainly because we are aggressively passionate about being allies to our youngsters. Also, the information is chock total of alarming examples the place mothers and fathers, school districts, and communities are NOT supporting the independence to read. The democratic freedom to give ALL young children the decision to locate publications devoid of censorship or barriers.

It boils my blood! Why does it look like we are going backwards with FREADom to read?

Yes, unfortunately, there are some school districts and states that want to notify mother and father of the textbooks they check out out!” HORROR!

Why does it seem to be like we’re heading backwards and not forwards? i’d like to listen to what you consider of the responses. It scares me!
