DeLand High School celebrates the Class of 2022

Loved ones and pals packed the Ocean Centre in Daytona Beach front Friday afternoon when 513 DeLand Large College seniors obtained their diplomas.

Valedictorian Wendy Zhang, who will review laptop science at the Massachusetts Institute of Engineering, and salutatorian Ian Moore, who will research computer science at Harvard University, tackled their friends all through the ceremony.

Friday’s celebration was the 10th graduation ceremony for Volusia County Schools’ 2022 graduation season, with 3,905 anticipated to wander across the stage and flip their tassels.

These graduates have finished their remaining two several years of high college amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
